The role

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and organisation? We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our dynamic finance team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process — from processing invoices to reconciling statements and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain strong relationships and support the financial health of the business.

Due to relocation, this is a full time permanent role based in our dog friendly office in Parnell, Auckland where you get to bring your doggo bestie in (we’ve got a roster system!)

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing and coding supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Preparing and processing weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Assisting with month-end close and reporting
  • New vendor set ups
  • Championing our purchase order compliance policy and training new team members
  • Supporting finance projects and process improvements

Key requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in an accounts payable or finance admin role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Great communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • Experience with ERP systems (we use ABEL)
  • Experience using Concur would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles
