Restaurant Assistant Manager – Mani in Pasta Athy

Mani in Pasta Athy is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, hands-on and passionate about hospitality, with the ability to support the management team while also being actively involved in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant
• Supervising and supporting the front-of-house team
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining our high standards
• Carrying out waiter/waitress duties when required, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables and assisting customers
• Supporting staff training and daily team organisation
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Supporting opening and closing procedures
• Ensuring health, safety and hygiene standards are maintained
• Working closely with the kitchen and management team
• Leading by example during busy services

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress and/or in a supervisory role
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant
• Availability to work weekends is essential
• Positive, professional and hands-on approach
