Company Description
Winkler Immigration Law is a Philadelphia-based law practice specializing in immigration matters with a heavy focus in removal proceedings. Our firm handles cases ranging from asylum and removal defense to family-based immigration and visas. We regularly appear in immigration courts in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Maryland, representing clients in complex immigration proceedings.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney located in Philadelphia, PA. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including asylum, removal defense, family-based immigration, and humanitarian visas. Day-to-day tasks include conducting legal research, providing legal advice, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in court. Legal writing and brief writing experience required. Litigation experience is recommended.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal writing and research
- Experience practicing immigration law in the United States preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in any state in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
