Who are we?

We are a family owned and operated GM dealership in the heart of Carleton Place, ON. We are proud to say we just celebrated our 10-year anniversary of Bean Chevrolet in this wonderful community. Over the last decade we have built our business on the principle that regardless if the customer is buying a wiper blade or a Corvette they should be treated with the same level of Super Service!

Why is this job important?

The Service Advisor fulfills a very important function in the dealership. They are the guide for our customers throughout the maintenance & repair process. They are responsible for ensuring the customer understands the importance of maintenance and understands repairs recommended by the technician. They work in tandem with the technicians, and parts team to create estimates for repairs and present those to the customer.

The Service Advisor is the face of the dealership to many of our customers and therefore we are looking for someone who really values making relationships. Many of our customers have been coming here for a long period of time and feedback always reflects just how much they value feeling like they have strong relationships with our staff. Not just a number, but a friend! Even though we have big city volume, we want to ensure we are still offering small town service!

Roles & Responsibilities

- writing repairs orders

- keeping customers informed of status

- verifying warranty eligibility

- performing walk-arounds

- presenting estimates

- scheduling repairs

What you Need to Succeed

Experience in Automotive (2-3 years minimum)

Above Average Proficiency with Computers

Organized, Efficient

Enjoy building relationships with Clients

Team Player

Excellent Communicator

Excellent Listener

G Driver's License (required)

Hours

We are open from 7 am - 7 pm M-F, and 8-4 on Saturdays. You will be required to work one Saturday per month but will have the following Friday off in lieu. Shifts will rotate with the team of Service Advisors between 7-4, 8-5, 10-7.

Compensation

Compensation is structured based on a base salary plus bonus. Bonus based on sales and customer satisfaction.
