Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Your primary role will be to communicate with customers, assess their vehicle needs, and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Provide detailed repair estimates to customers
- Schedule appointments and coordinate service timelines
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed work
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or service writing preferred
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
