We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting and financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable)
- Issue customer invoices and track collections
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Track inventory levels and reconcile inventory records
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain general ledger and supporting schedules
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll remittances
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Support year-end, audit, and external accountant requirements
- Ensure HST/GST and payroll filings are accurate and submitted on time
Requirements:
- Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Nice to Have:
- Accounting or finance diploma/degree
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Knowledge of Canadian tax and payroll regulations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
