Job Title: Cashier
Location: 3505 Courthouse Rd. Richmond, VA 23236
Position Type: Part-Time (up to 30 hours a week)
We’re looking for a Cashier to handle front-of-house service and provide a smooth, friendly experience for every customer. This role is responsible for taking orders accurately, managing transactions, and supporting the café team during busy periods.
What You’ll Do:
- Take customer orders for both coffee and food items
- Operate the register with accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with café staff to ensure orders are made correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter, condiment station, and customer area
- Assist with light café duties such as restocking, running drinks or food, and supporting the team during rushes
- Provide helpful, consistent customer service
Requirements:
- Experience in a café, coffee shop, or fast-paced customer-facing role preferred
- Ability to stay focused, calm, and efficient during high-volume times
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Able to stand and move for the duration of a shift
- Bring your throwing arm for our Hoo-Wig ticket system.
