Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee catering operations, guest house maintenance, and housekeeping activities. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring hygiene and service quality, managing billing records, and maintaining accurate documentation using Excel. The candidate must demonstrate strong people management skills, professional communication, and a respectful approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Catering & Operations Supervision
Supervise daily catering operations including food service, pantry management, and cleanliness.
Ensure food quality, hygiene standards, and timely service as per requirements.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and vendors for smooth operations.
2. Guest House Management
Oversee day-to-day guest house operations including room readiness, cleanliness, and maintenance.
Ensure proper housekeeping schedules and compliance with service standards.
Handle guest-related issues professionally and ensure satisfactory resolution.
3. Housekeeping & Maintenance Oversight
Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure cleanliness of rooms, common areas, dining areas, and offices.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs, utilities, and facility upkeep.
Conduct regular inspections and report issues to management.
4. Staff Supervision & People Management
Manage and guide staff working under him, including duty allocation and attendance monitoring.
Ensure discipline, teamwork, and respectful behavior among staff.
Train staff on standard operating procedures and hygiene practices.
5. Billing, Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and verify catering and guest house bills accurately.
Maintain daily records, consumption data, attendance, and expense reports.
Perform data entry and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel.
Submit timely reports to management as required.
6. Communication & Coordination
Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, staff, vendors, and management.
Coordinate with administration and accounts teams for billing and approvals.
Handle work-related discussions in a professional and courteous manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience as a Catering Supervisor / Facility Supervisor / Guest House Supervisor preferred.
Decent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (billing, data entry, basic reports).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong people management and supervisory skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
Professional attitude, respectful behavior, and problem-solving mindset.
Basic understanding of hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards.
