We are looking for a friendly and reliable Takeaway Counter Assistant to join our team. The role involves serving customers, handling orders, and keeping the counter area clean and organised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and taking food and drink orders
- Operating the till and handling cash or card payments
- Preparing and packaging takeaway orders
- Keeping the counter, kitchen, and dining areas clean and tidy
- Restocking items and supplies as needed
- Following food hygiene and health & safety guidelines
- Assisting the team during busy periods
Requirements:
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling payments
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- some experience in a similar environment required – training will be provided
Working Hours:
Flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
Experience:
- Customer service : 1 year (preferred)
Work authorisation:
- Ireland (required)
