The Role
The Customer Relationship Manager is central to delivering an exceptional experience for NGS Super’s employers, members and key stakeholders. In this highly visible, relationship-led role, you’ll bring our customer value proposition to life—driving engagement, retention and growth through meaningful, day-to-day interactions. With a strong focus on building trusted partnerships, you’ll spend most of your time working directly with customers to support their needs and strengthen long-term relationships.

What you’ll do
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with employers, members and key stakeholders to drive engagement and loyalty.
  • Deliver tailored education, advice and presentations aligned to customer needs and segments.
  • Clearly articulate and promote NGS Super’s products, services and customer value proposition.
  • Manage and grow an allocated employer portfolio, ensuring strong coverage and engagement at employer and member level.
  • Use data insights to prioritise high-value and at-risk customers and tailor engagement strategies.
  • Identify and refer new business and growth opportunities as appropriate.
  • Provide general financial advice and promote intrafund and limited personal advice offerings.
  • Support employers with tools, services and solutions to ensure an easy and seamless experience with the Fund.
  • Manage high-value and at-risk relationships through proactive engagement and retention strategies.
  • Represent NGS Super at events, workplace visits, seminars and webinars.
  • Resolve member and employer queries, manage onboarding/transfers, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure all activities comply with regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.
About you
A commercially aware relationship management professional with a background in Superannuation, you will bring the following key skills:
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of customers to an organisation.
  • Proven inter-personal and presentation skills at industry, member and service provider levels.
  • Demonstrated superior written communications skills.
  • Good organisational capabilities including an ability to work autonomously, develop and manage own work plan and setting and meeting deadlines.
  • Current driver’s licence and be willing to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
  • RG146 qualification.
The following are nice to have but not essential:
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in business or financial discipline
  • Certified financial planner
  • Customer Management Competencies As per Appendix 1
