Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and organized
- Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with safety guidelines
- Support clinical procedures by anticipating the dentist’s needs and ensuring efficient workflow
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory duties, including pouring and trimming dental models
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized operatory in compliance with infection control standards
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Previous experience in a dental receptionist or front desk role is an asset
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry preferred
- Working knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology and digital impression systems is considered a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in dental practice management software for scheduling, charting, and patient record management
- Solid understanding of medical documentation standards and recordkeeping procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.85 - $17.70 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Macon, GA 31206: Relocate before starting work (Required)
