Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks
• Measure and test electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper functionality
• Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations and conduit routing
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and construction site regulations

Skills

• Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
• Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical installations
• Ability to work effectively in team environments alongside skilled tradespeople such as frame carpenters
• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail when troubleshooting electrical issues
