INDO-PAK FOODS LIMITED T/A Star Kebab is a well-established fast-food eatery in Auckland, renowned for serving authentic and delicious kebabs. We are currently seeking dedicated Fast Food Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Job Responsibilities –

• Prepare and cook a variety of fast food items following company recipes and quality standards.

• Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Monitor inventory levels and report stock needs to management.

• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and chillers while ensuring proper temperature control.

• Sterilize utensils and cooking equipment before each use and regularly clean food prep areas.

• Discard expired or spoiled ingredients and follow proper food handling protocols.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality.

• Assist in training new kitchen staff when required.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Hours and Benefits:

• Minimum requirement of 30 hours per week.

• Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Excellent time management skills.

• Physically capable of standing for extended periods.

• Hardworking and passionate about the job.

• Keen attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
