Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food handling practices comply with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor food inventory levels
• Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
