Job Summary
Join our Sideline Social culinary team as a Line Cook! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Your enthusiasm for food service will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a lively, team-oriented atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen
- Assist in plating dishes attractively and efficiently for timely service
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Follow all safety protocols related to cooking equipment and food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required;
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
