- Organizing the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel.
- Organizing the assemblage, maintenance and use of fleet vehicles.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and salaries.
- Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles.
- Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports
- Managing Contracts and hire, train, and manage drivers, ensuring they meet performance standards.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Use data to make decisions regarding fleet size, driver retention, and service improvements.
Should a taxi driver be unable to work due to illness, the fleet manager is responsible for temporarily covering their shifts as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekends only
