Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in selecting products for shipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking stock levels.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues immediately.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling troubleshooting of minor equipment issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and distribution processes is highly desirable.
• Experience with order picking and basic math skills for inventory management are beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while adhering to safety guidelines.
