Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel management system.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation at the front desk area.

Skills

  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally.
  • Previous hotel experience is an advantage, enhancing familiarity with industry standards.
  • Excellent guest services skills to create memorable experiences for visitors.
  • A background in hospitality is beneficial for understanding guest needs and expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Work Location: In person
