Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel management system.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
- Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation at the front desk area.
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
- Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally.
- Previous hotel experience is an advantage, enhancing familiarity with industry standards.
- Excellent guest services skills to create memorable experiences for visitors.
- A background in hospitality is beneficial for understanding guest needs and expectations.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
Work Location: In person
