• The responsibilities of a carer include (but are not limited to) personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving & transferring, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and high dependency care, supervising medication, light housework/basic shopping needs.
• Deliver high-quality care and assistance to our clients as per their Care Plan. The Care Plan will be placed in each client’s homes and carers must follow this guide.
• Supporting social interactions and activities, providing companionship.
• Encourage independence.
• Observe, listen, and engage with clients and maintain positive relationships with the client and the family.
• Be punctual and manage time effectively.
• Always observe confidentiality policies.
• Communicate with Kare Plan any changes or concerns in relation to Client needs/care.
• Report and record any incidents.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.

We are looking for Carers who:

• Have started/completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent
• Have drivers licence & own transport
• Are reliable, dedicated, diligent and trustworthy
• Are fluent in English both verbally and written

What you need to do:

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: Up to €20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (preferred)
• driving licence and your own car (preferred)
