Purpose: Care for the elderly and people with disabilities in Cork City.
"IMPORTANT: NO SPONSORSHIP AND ONLY RESIDENT IN IRELAND"
Duties & Tasks:
- Promote and encourage independence for all clients.
- Activities of daily living.
- Assisting with personal care including showering, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene.
- Catheter and Stoma Care support.
- Supporting feeding and meal preparation.
- Prompting medication.
- Light housework appropriate to the care plan including commode hygiene and laundry.
- Companionship and trips out including hospital appointments and shopping.
- Alzheimer and Dementia care activities for clients.
- Step-down care.
- End-of-life care.
- Primary Care Team support.
Requirements:
- QQI Level 5 or equivalent nursing certificate
- Full Irish Driving Licence
- Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
