About this opportunity

The Machine Operator role will work alongside the Site Operations Manager with a primary focus on plant equipment operation, reliability, and preventative maintenance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Supporting the planned maintenance program for the site.
• Problem solving of equipment inefficiencies to root cause and implementing suitable measures to prevent repeat failures.
• Ensure effectiveness of the hour-by-hour board driving efficiencies and resources utilization.
• Propose improvements to equipment and processes to improve material flow and reduce cost.
• Show strong safety leadership to the site.
• Ensure sense of urgency and demonstrate responsiveness to address unsafe conditions.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Atleast 2 years experience working as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Adept technical skills with relation to the trouble shooting and operation of automated process equipment.
• Exposure to automation and controls
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Continuous improvement focus
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate in diverse teams.

Location: Highbrook, Auckland, New Zealand
Hours: 5:00am to 1:30pm – Monday to Friday
