Introduction:
Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.

This is a newly created Maintenance Planner role, offering the opportunity to shape how maintenance is planned and delivered on site. You’ll play a key role in shifting the operation from reactive to proactive maintenance, working closely with maintenance and plant teams to plan, schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities. You’ll manage CMMS workflows, align resources, parts and contractors, and help drive improvements in plant reliability, structure and performance.

Description:
Your new day to day:

• Plan and schedule all preventive and non‑breakdown maintenance activities
• Manage and optimise the CMMS to track work, parts, and compliance
• Receive work requests and allocate labour, contractors, and timeframes
• Coordinate shutdowns and maintenance activities with production teams
• Prepare clear job packs and worksheets for maintenance trades
• Ensure parts, materials, and services are ready for planned work
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across site

Skills and Experiences:
About you:

• Proven experience in maintenance planning within manufacturing, FMCG or industrial envrionments
• Hands‑on experience using a CMMS (MaintainX, MEX, MainPak or similar)
• Trade or technical background with strong planning and coordination skills
• Ability to prioritise work and allocate labour, parts, and contractors
• High attention to detail with a structured, systems‑focused mindset
• Strong communication skills to work across maintenance and production teams
• A proactive, continuous‑improvement approach to maintenance reliability
