We are looking for a reliable Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises. We’ll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.

Handyman job description

We are looking for a dependable Handyman that can complete various remodeling and maintenance tasks on our properties. Remodeling job duties include painting, hanging drywall, and installing floors and windows. Your maintenance responsibilities involve solving basic electrical and plumbing issues, as well as ensuring interior and exterior structural components are safe and in good condition, such as siding and sidewalks. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, and you should be proficient with hand and power tools. Previous experience working as an electrician or in carpentry is a plus, especially if you have a contractor or journeyman license.

Deft hands and technical knowledge are important parts of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

We are expecting you to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.

Handyman duties and responsibilities, including but not limited:

• Clean facilities regularly
• Update drywall and paint as needed
• Help with tile or flooring installation
• Assist with trim carpentry or exterior siding
• Perform floor stripping and waxing
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
• Regularly perform various landscaping tasks
• Fill gaps and provide painting services
• Perform lightning installation and carpeting
• Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
• Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed

Handyman requirements and qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a handyman
• 10 years of experience with appropriate electrical tools and equipment
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Problem solver
• Attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Handyman: 3 years (Required)
