Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our clinic team. Operating within a well established busy chiropractic clinic in the heart of Pickering. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help patients improve their health through therapeutic touch in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience.

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pre-post natal, pediatric or other modalities.
• Assess patient conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for patient before, during, and after sessions.
• Keep detailed records of treatments provided and patient progress in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or wellness practices.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including sanitation protocols.

Skills

• Proficiency in massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, pre-post natal, pediatric or other modalities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and common health conditions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively listen to patients’ needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
• Exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming environment and build lasting patient relationships.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Good organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75.00-$80.00 per hour
