A Busy Downtown Oakville Family Physician's office is looking for the right individual(s) to join our team of Medical Office Receptionists. The candidate(s) must have availability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous medical reception experience, and who have previous administrative experience background. The candidate should be able to efficiently multi-task and carry out verbal and written instruction from any individual. All candidates are required to be fluent in written and verbal English. The ideal candidate(s) will be computer literate and familiar with windows operating systems. Experience with any electronic medical record (EMR) software is an asset, and experience working with Telus PS Suite is a bonus.
All candidates should enjoy working in a fast pace environment, working with patients, physicians, and other team members. The successful candidate will effectively: manage incoming calls, screening/triaging of patient inquiries, booking appointments, checking patients in for their appointments, process new prescriptions/prescription renewals upon approval of doctor, prepares bills or takes payments, and provides support to physicians.
This position suits someone who wants to work full-time The ideal candidate(s) would have potential for growth within the office, including promotions (to other positions within the clinic), raises, and additional responsibilities. We're hoping to find a candidate who is willing to learn and grow within their role.
