About the role

We’re excited to welcome applications for the role of Operator - MMU! Based in Dunedin, this full-time residential position follows a Monday to Friday roster, ensuring a balanced and rewarding work schedule.

In this role, you will collaborate with Operators and Shotfirers, interact with clients, and work within flexible, diverse teams shaped by site-specific needs.

What you will be doing

Operating our MMU vehicle (Mobile Manufacturing Units) independently, showcasing autonomy and expertise in vehicle handling;
Delivery of product to our Quarry Customers;
Explosives Magazine Management;
Support the Orica Macraes Mine underground operations team;
Assisting with preventative maintenance;
Working in tight unison with your teammates to provide an excellence in service to our valued customers;
Daily administration and customer interactions.

What you will bring

An unquestionable attitude toward working safely as a priority;
Experience operating an MMU, or similar blast delivery vehicle; or
Class 4 NZ license;
SSAN or equivalent Dangerous Goods Licence;
A positive team-orientated work ethic;
A positive attitude to customer service.
