Office & Facilities Coordinator

Location: Melbourne

Employment type: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: $81,300 (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging

About the role

As the Office and Facilities Coordinator, you’ll manage a small, geographically dispersed team and lead the day-to-day operations of Housing Choices’ national office network.

From coordinating mail, supplies and office systems to supporting travel and archiving, you’ll ensure our teams are well-equipped and supported to do their best work.

Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing office operations at the Melbourne Office and supervise WA, SA and TAS
Managing office supply stock, mail, and building access systems
Supervising part-time site administrators and maintaining team standards
Reporting maintenance issues and coordinating with the national fleet team
Supporting corporate travel, contractor onboarding, and compliance processes

About the team

The Finance & Risk group provides essential financial stewardship and risk management to support Housing Choices Australia’s long-term sustainability and growth. It manages budgeting, financial reporting, treasury operations, and strategic financial planning, ensuring robust financial health and resource optimisation. This group strategically addresses financial risks and opportunities, safeguarding the organisation's capacity to deliver on its purpose effectively.

Skills and Experiences:
About you

You’re a confident team leader with strong operations or facilities experience and a passion for creating efficient, well-run workspaces.

Experience in office or facilities coordination, ideally in a multi-site environment
Leadership and people management experience
Strong organisational, systems, and communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office and comfort working across functions
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel interstate occasionally

You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
