We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant who brings strong organizational skills along with a creative flair for social media and marketing. This hybrid role combines traditional administrative tasks with opportunities to contribute to our public presence and community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming office environment
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Provide general office support as needed
Marketing & Social Media:
- Create engaging social media content and maintain an active online presence
- Design eye-catching flyers and promotional materials for upcoming events
- Capture and post photos from events to increase social media engagement and visibility
Event Support:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events
- Attend events to ensure smooth execution and provide on-site support
- Prepare for and attend monthly association luncheons, including checking in members and managing event logistics
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar tools)
- Comfortable interacting with the public and working events outside regular office hours as needed
- Prior office or administrative experience preferred
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative structure and creative expression, with opportunities to interact with people and make a visible impact on community engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
