As the key point of contact for our customers, you'll manage inquiries, process orders, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional service.
- Location: Te Rapa Park, Kirikiriroa |Hamilton
- Position: Permanent, Full-Time
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00 pm – 02:00 am (occasional Sundays)

In the role of Operations Administrator, you'll manage inquiries, process orders, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Your contributions will directly support the success and reputation of Service Foods by fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless order fulfilment.
You'll work closely with both the PM butchery and sales teams to maintain accurate records, coordinate with internal departments, and handle various administrative responsibilities, including:
- Processing customer orders via phone, email, fax, and online channels.
- Ensuring accurate order entry into Sage/ERP and Salesforce (CRM).
- Managing customer backorders to ensure timely delivery.
- Providing prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns.
- Assisting with pick-packing orders to support on-time market delivery.
- Performing other administrative tasks and special projects as required.

You will be a driven and resilient individual with a strong background in administration or customer service. You will have a formal qualification (Year 13 or equivalent) and experience working in administration or customer services.
This is a fast-paced role that requires adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to gather and interpret information
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (essential) and experience with CRM (Salesforce) and SAGE/ERP systems (advantageous)
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong understanding of processes, systems, and data entry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic and adaptable approach
- Reliable transport to and from work
- Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
- Knowledge of the food services warehouse industry, NZ food products, and basic ingredients
