Ophthalmic Technician
The Strom Eye Center is looking to add a highly motivated, skillful, team oriented Ophthalmic Technician to provide excellent patient care. We are centrally located in Sarasota, Florida next to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Experience required. Full Time. Competitive Salary and Benefits.
Qualifications
- Proficient in ophthalmology and medical office procedures
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience in patient care and maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Ability to perform refractions, lensometry and applanation tonometry
- Familiarity with Cirrus OCT and Humphrey visual field testing
- Experience with soft and RGP contact lens instruction and personal care
- Experience in minor surgery assistance and maintaining a sterile field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
