Summary
We are seeking an Optician to join our team at Children's Eye Center in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping children select and fit eyewear, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while contributing to their overall eye health.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences.
- Perform fittings and adjustments for glasses to ensure proper fit and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions and eyewear orders.
- Educate patients and their families about proper eyewear care and usage.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Manage inventory of optical products and supplies effectively.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care and optics.
- Sales experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Optical experience preferred

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
