About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, and employee benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday applications and a solid understanding of Indian labour laws and tax regulations
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Manages employees’ payroll salary data, keeps record of leave data and at time of full and final he helps in calculating the final amount. collects data of new joiners and exits employees and shares with consultants who create UAN and new EPF accounts
Shares payroll data with consultants for creatin EPF and PT challan and resolve queries if any, coordinates with Finance team share EPF and PT challan for processing statutory remittance, collects and shares Shift allowance data with Payroll team for processing the payment along with monthly salary, Processes exited employee Gratuity if eligible and coordinates with LIC (Policy holder) get the mount back from Gratuity Trust.
2. Coordinates with consultants and shares Gratuity paid data for crating statutory Form L for further submission to the respective Government Authority.
3. Coordinates with Banker where we have NPS and Meal account and share employee data for creating and depositing employees NPS amount
4. Conducts employees’ induction on a weekly basis and explains new joiners about benefits and how to update their documents in ADP portal for Tax Benefits
5. Helps employees obtain Car lease benefits and process vendor invoice for the payment
6. Helps with the renewal of Gratuity Trust and share required data and documents with LIC (Policy Holder)
7. Processes TDS payment with finance team
8. Support and lead the internal and external audit.
9. R & R Process
Minimum Requirements
- Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
- Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
- University Degree or equivalent
- A minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience OR An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience
