Payroll Coordinator

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Support Coordinator to manage timekeeping processes for our field staff across 14 countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying time entries, coordinating with the timekeeping system (Workday), and making manual adjustments where necessary. Additionally, this role will oversee the correct application of rates, including those for Europe, and will be responsible for uploading one-time payments.
Key Responsibilities – For Field Staff only:
  • Time Review & Approval: Ensure accuracy in time entries for field staff and resolve discrepancies.
  • Timekeeper Coordination: Maintain and oversee the timekeeping system to ensure timely and accurate recording of work hours.
  • Jira Management: Respond to employees' inquiries promptly and with empathy.
  • Payroll support : Oversee and manage country-specific rates and ensure they are correctly applied (European rates). Support payroll-related activities for Iceland Pay and other locations.
  • Manual Changes: Implement manual adjustments as necessary for country-specific payroll requirements (14 countries).
  • One-Time Payments: Handle the upload and processing of one-time payments to the payroll system.
  • Visa Oversight : Own and oversee visas, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administration.
  • Proficiency in Jira and timekeeping systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
