We are currently seeking a highly organized and efficient Port Operation / Logistics Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for managing the discharge of construction aggregates (stones, sand) at a port, ensuring smooth discharging operations for all barges and vessels. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a knack for port, logistics and coordination, we invite you to apply.
Working Location: Jurong Port Road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate manpower and equipment effectively to manage and ensure vessel and barge discharging operations of construction aggregates at the port runs smoothly.
- Oversee daily operations related to the arrival and departure of barges and vessels.
- Liaise with port authorities to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on barge and vessel activities.
- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal supply of construction aggregates for delivery to customers.
- Coordinate with the truck teams and ensure all ordered construction aggregates are promptly delivered.
- Manage and ensure the safety of our workforce at work.
- Ensure equipment are maintained and operational for every deployment.
- Able and willing to work irregular hours, including weekends. Port operations run 24/7.
- Ad hoc supervisory/witnessing work at other worksites if required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics and site coordination
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to drive and hold a valid driver’s license (Class 3) in Singapore. Company van provided for work use.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month

License/Certification:
- Class 3 Driving Licence (Required)
