We are seeking an experienced SAP development professional with strong expertise in SAP ABAP, Fiori, UI5 and BTP to take on the role of Product Owner. This role involves driving the strategic roadmap, operations, and lifecycle management of Fiori launchpad, automation, and BTP services within the SAP ecosystem.

As a Product Owner, you will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure SAP landscapes are robust, automated, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Product Owner for SAP Fiori and BTP platform and services.

  • Own the backlog, prioritize features, and manage sprint planning in collaboration with Agile teams.

  • Lead the strategy, implementation, and support of SAP Fiori Launchpad and BTP services.

  • Evaluate business needs, market trends, and SAP innovations to drive continuous improvement.

  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, UX teams, developers, and SAP functional consultants.

  • Communicate product decisions and roadmap updates to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, UI/UX standards, security, and compliance guidelines.

  • Oversee integration, data consistency, and lifecycle management across SAP S/4HANA and BTP.

  • Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and user experience enhancement.

  • Encourage a culture of agile improvement and data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide input on budget planning, vendor evaluations, and tool licensing.

Required skills & experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP development

  • Strong understanding of SAP Fiori architecture, UX principles, Launchpad configuration, and SAP Design Studio.

  • Knowledge of SAP BTP components such as CAP, SAP Build, Workflow Management, Integration Suite, BAS, and Identity Services.

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA modules and extension patterns (in-app, side-by-side).

  • Ability to read or review technical designs (UI5, OData, CDS views—coding knowledge not required but beneficial).

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product lifecycles.

  • Experience in Agile methodology; previous experience in a Product Owner role is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and prioritize accordingly.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8-12 years of industry experience in SAP domain.

  • Experience with design thinking and UX-driven development.

  • Exposure to BTP services and Fiori UI5.

  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Associate – SAP Fiori System Administration, SAP BTP Certifications) is good to have.

  • Product Owner or Agile Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) is good to have.
