Description:
What will I contribute?
- Ensure accurate stock management: daily checks, bookings, and end-of-day stock balancing.
- Coordinate with packing, processing, and category teams for timely order processing and communication.
- Handle daily order processing, stock assessments, and manage discrepancies with QA and accounts teams.
- Maintain a safe working environment, meeting production deadlines and ensuring food safety and quality standards.
- Support in the afternoon as a Filling Supervisor and ensure customer deliveries meet expectations.
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- To deliver goods to our customers within their specifications and expectations.
- To understand your cost of doing business (CODB) and proactively improve processes and systems.
What do I need for the role?
- Experience in stock management, order processing, and coordination within a production environment.
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience in a team leader or a 2IC capacity, communicate effectively, and continuously improve production processes.
- Knowledge of OH&S policies, with a focus on workplace safety and compliance.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Ironbark and production planning software such as ‘Think Fresh.’
