Project Officer - Services Branch
- Salary: $81,496 to $90,227 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed term role: until 30 June 2027
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)
The Role
The Project Officer reports directly to the Manager, Advisory Board Secretariat Unit. The role supports the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) Advisory Board; an independent body of senior leaders that drives quality and innovation in the vocational education and training sector.
Main accountabilities:
- Undertake the procurement of goods and services, in-line with departmental procedures, process invoices, and contract manage suppliers.
- Coordinate day-to-day communications with Advisory Board members and their executive support staff, officers internal to the VSA and the Department, and other stakeholders.
- Support board and governance processes including maintaining governance records, tracking actions, assisting with reporting requirements, and ensuring documentation is managed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
The Team
The position of Project Officer forms a part of the Services Branch within the Victorian Skills Authority.
The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) provides evidence-based planning and solutions to meet current and future skills needs in Victoria. We are an administrative office led by a chief executive officer and supported by an advisory board of key stakeholders.
