About Us:

Enforcement and Support Services (ESS) is a business unit within Civil and Enforcement Services, Department of Justice and Community Safety's Courts, Civil and Criminal Law group. ESS is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringement system in Victoria.

The Project Officer role is located within Enforcement and Support Services (ESS), which is the primary operational unit within CES.

About the Role:

The Project Officer reports to the Business Support Team Lead regarding assigned projects, activities and work programs, including branch-wide continuous improvement initiatives, audit and compliance activities, development and management of policies, correspondence templates and upkeep of various business registers.

Some of you duties will include:

  • Producing high quality and detailed documents including reports, briefings, policies and procedures, training documents, information sheets, correspondence, and planning documents to support all areas within ESS.
  • Demonstrating creative thinking in the design and implementation of project outcomes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and government agency counterparts.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in the delivery of projects in an operational setting.
  • The ability to prepare well-written, timely, concise, accurate and audience-appropriate briefings and reports and documents for publication.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
