About the role
The core responsibility of the Resource Manager is to build a future way of steering the operations.
The Resource Manager will allocate and schedule human resources in alignment with machine resourcing and operational planning. This includes optimizing the use of human resources and developing competences to ensure overall efficiency across OSTP operations. The role also involves leveraging AI-driven tools and data analytics to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve resource planning and utilization strategies.
The position is based at OSTP Finland in Pietarsaari with the possibility to work remotely one day per week.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and allocate human resources across departments and shifts to meet operational demands.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven solutions to enhance resource planning and operational efficiency and manage the digital workforce.
- Collaborate with department leads to ensure resourcing aligns with production schedules and business needs.
- Develop competence mapping, identify skill gaps and coordinate trainings.
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies with the target to continuously seek the most optimal future state.
- Align resource and development strategies with site-level objectives.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to human resource planning and development.
We are looking for someone who
- Has excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities and capability to maintain a high level of personal drive
- Has a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Has experience in resource management or workforce development, preferably in manufacturing or in an industrial setting.
- Has got strong analytical skills
- Has knowledge of production planning, OEE metrics, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Has the ability to lead change management and continuous improvement projects.
- Is experienced with Power BI for interactive dashboards and data visualization.
