- Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular plant site inspections, risk assessments , and identify hazards to prevent accidents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local/national Occupational Safety and Health as per PSARA policy.
- Safety Procedures: Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols, including issuing work permits for high-risk jobs (e.g., confined space, hot work).
- Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare, analyze, and report findings to prevent recurrence.
- Training and Promotion: Organize safety drills, training, and awareness programs to foster a safety culture.
