Description:
What You’ll Be Doing
- Achieve sales, volume, and margin targets while driving profitability across key accounts and market channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and growers, enhancing brand presence in the market
- Manage grower partnerships, including pricing, returns, and clear communication on market trends and quality
- Oversee stock control processes, including inventory accuracy, rotation, reconciliation, and discrepancy management
- Monitor and report on performance, delivering accurate forecasts, sales insights, and timely use of internal systems
- Ensure compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements, promoting safe work practices and equipment use
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience of sales and procurement in the produce industry
- Experience with managing grower and customer relations, pricing, forecasting, and stock systems (e.g. Ironbark)
- Current forklift licence and drivers licence (essential)
- Ability to work early hours (from 4:00am) in line with market operations
- WHS and First Aid certifications (desirable)
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic market environment
- Build strong industry relationships with growers and customers
- Be part of a team that values safety, quality, and performance
