A sign print production specialist is responsible for operating printing and fabrication equipment to create various types of signs, ensuring the final product meets quality, design, and safety standards. Key duties include setting up and running machinery, processing digital files, installing signs, managing production processes, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation:Operate digital presses, wide-format printers, cutters, and other finishing equipment.
  • Pre-Production:Prepare files for print, select appropriate materials, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Production & Fabrication:Print designs, apply vinyl, laminate prints, and assemble custom signs, including dimensional letters and lightboxes.
  • Quality Control:Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, and troubleshoot issues during the production process.
  • Collaboration & Communication:Work with team members to resolve problems, and interact with customers to take orders and address their needs.
  • Workspace Management:Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Production team. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong teamwork skills, and be committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training of new employees on production processes and equipment operation.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with operating machinery and understanding of basic mechanical concepts is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
