GK Farming Limited is a leading agricultural enterprise based in the heart of Pukekohe, Auckland, specializing in innovative and sustainable farming practices. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help drive operational excellence on our farm. You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Overseeing and improving the daily functions of the nursery.
- Opening the nursery in the morning and closing at the end of the day.
- Hiring and supervising the nursery staff.
- Ordering nursery stock.
- Ensuring all the workers are working efficiently and effectively.
- Monitoring watering times.
- Monitoring weather conditions and paying special attention to hot or cold temperature.
Work Hours and Benefits
- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Paid between $27 to $30 per hour
Other requirements:
- 1 Year of relevant work experience
- Available to work on weekends
- Team worker
- Good with managing time and people.
- Physically fit to stand for a longer duration
- Hardworking and passionate individual
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
