Transport Assistant

The Concast Precast Group is a leading designer, manufacturer, and provider of precast concrete structures in Ireland and the UK. Our head office is located in Newcastle, West Dublin.

We are currently seeking a Transport Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and the delivery of precast concrete products to construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience of securing and planning heavy loads to sites. Experience required:

· Planning deliveries of heavy goods and communication with Site Managers

· Managing deliveries to construction sites is essential

· Experience with heavy haulage, securing loads, transport qualification ideally required

· Good communications skills are essential

· Good computer skills including Microsoft word and excel

· Forklift experience preferred

Key activities include:

· Assisting in the planning/scheduling of loads to sites in UK and Ireland

· Ensuring compliance with transport legislation

· Managing incoming deliveries to the plant, off-loading smaller deliveries

· Assisting in the completion of paperwork

· Contacting sites and haulage contractors on a daily basis

· Ensuring health & safety requirements are implemented at all times

Must be available to work in person at our offices in Dublin and may be required to occasionally work Saturday morning if required. You must be eligible to work in Ireland. Excellent language skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
