We are seeking a Wellbeing and Volunteer Coordinator to deliver programs that strengthen social connection, wellbeing and community participation across Tasmania.
This role works across two key programs, the Stay ChatTY Student Wellbeing Program and the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), supporting both young people and older Tasmanians experiencing social isolation.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will coordinate wellbeing and social connection programs across Tasmania, supporting both students and older Tasmanians. You will recruit, onboard and support Student Wellbeing Officers and volunteers, match participants to create meaningful connections, and build strong relationships with schools, aged care providers and community organisations. The role also involves participant engagement and support, alongside monitoring program outcomes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with program and funding requirements, all while working with a high level of autonomy.
This position can be located in either the Northern or Southern region of the state.
Do you fit the bill
- A relevant qualification in community services, social work, health, education or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in program, volunteer or community coordination
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Sound administrative skills and attention to detail

- Salary starting from $103,024 + Super / *Pro-rata
