Reporting to the Production Manager, we are currently recruiting a CNC Machinist for our Machine Shop to join the capable and growing production team.

Minimum requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Enrolled in machinist apprenticeship program (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year).

· Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.

The following experience is considered an asset:

· Set-up, prove out part programs and run production on various types of multi axis CNC lathes and mills.

· Familiarity with robotic cells.

· Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices.

· Advanced knowledge of industry safety practices.

Role Responsibilities:

· Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures.

· Set-up and run production of proven parts on various types of multi axis CNC lathes and mills.

· Troubleshoot machine or product issues, ex. operation, quality, etc.

· Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

· Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

· Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.

· Perform other duties as assigned.
