Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates. This position requires a strong understanding of construction estimating principles and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. The Estimator will utilize industry-standard software tools to build comprehensive bids and ensure project profitability.
Duties
- Completion of tender site meetings, site takeoffs, plan takeoffs, specifications, subtrades, etc, to provide competitive pricing
- Maintain contact and relationships with existing client, Engineering firms and other organizations.
- Identifies labour, materials and time requirements.
- Complete cost estimates for internal review and project schedules
- Site meetings for clarifications with clients and Engineers.
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintain reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain costs database by entering and backing up data
- Contributes to team effort as needed
- Work closely and in conjunction with the Project Manager to assure all projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute invoices on the a monthly basis.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with project management principles is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using estimating software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Construction Estimating: 3 years (required)
