Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all customs regulations and procedures while facilitating the smooth flow of goods across international borders. You will work closely with various people, including freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers, to manage documentation and resolve any issues that may arise during the customs clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review import/export documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and 3PL providers to facilitate timely shipments.
• Negotiate with customs officials as necessary to resolve issues related to shipments.
• Maintain accurate data entry for all customs transactions in Fleet Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationship management practices to enhance client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage accounts effectively, ensuring that all customer needs are met promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in customs brokerage or a related field is required.
• Ability to work any shift which may include weekends.
• Familiarity with freight operations and supply chain management is highly desirable.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail are essential.
• Proficiency in using Fleet Manager is advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
