Job Summary
Milagrow is seeking talented and passionate Jr. Sous Chefs (Bakery/Pastry) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will assist in creating high-quality baked goods, pastries, desserts and support daily kitchen operations. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain consistency, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing, and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts.
- Ensure all bakery and pastry items meet Milagrow’s quality standards.
- Supervise and guide commis-level staff in daily operations.
- Maintain proper hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Help in menu development, new recipe trials, and seasonal dessert ideas.
- Check inventory and assist in ordering raw materials.
- Ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and portion control.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Pastry, Culinary Arts, or Food Production.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in bakery/pastry section.
- Strong knowledge of breads, cakes, pastries, desserts, fondant, creams & baking techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Creativity and passion for modern baking & dessert trends.
- Good team management and communication skills.
- Week-off as per roster
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
