Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring food safety and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
- Passion for delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service
